Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No. wordspace runs entirely on your Mac, with no account and no cloud. Internet is only needed if you choose to download a local intelligence model.

Where does my writing go?

It stays only on your Mac: it is never sent to us or to third parties. Details are in the privacy policy.

The wiki and corrections aren't available — why?

These features need an intelligence model. Turn one on in Settings → Intelligence: use Apple Intelligence (where your Mac offers it) or download a local model. Without a model, writing still works.

Requirements

wordspace is a macOS app. On-device intelligence features require a Mac with Apple silicon; Apple Intelligence requires a compatible Mac with the feature enabled in System Settings.
