The Inbox is the first door
What you catch on the fly — on the Mac or the iPhone — stops there: it isn’t a note yet, and it doesn’t have to be. It moves between the two by itself, through your iCloud Drive, and there is a single Inbox: everything is edited where it was born. You look at it when you have time and you decide: make a note of it, put it away, or throw it out.
Markdown, effortlessly
Write in Markdown and see formatted text as you type. Every paragraph is a block with its own pill — heading, text, list, table, quote — and converting it is one click.
On-device intelligence
Fix, rewrite, expand or shorten one paragraph at a time. The engine runs on your Mac — Apple Intelligence or a model you download once. To work on your text, the model never sends it anywhere.
A wiki that grows
The wiki reads your notes and reorganizes them by topic: the ones you tag with #topic and @person, and the ones the intelligence finds on its own. Ask a question, the answer comes only from what you’ve written. It is the way of working known online as an LLM wiki: knowledge is compiled once and keeps growing, instead of being searched again at every question.
Themes: your documents, by topic
In “Options” you point to the folders holding your documents — Word, OpenDocument, RTF, Markdown, plain text — and the Themes area groups them by topic. Each theme can be viewed as text, with subthemes, sources and files, or as a cloud, which shows whether it sits in a single folder or is scattered everywhere. With “New theme…” you open one starting from a word in your documents. Themes don’t touch your files: only what you bring in enters wordspace.
One file, three ways in
A document or a link can go into the Inbox and wait; become an external source inside a note, to consult but kept out of the wiki; or an internal source: the text becomes yours and the file stays linked, so when you edit it in its own app the note updates.

Free, with two monthly caps
wordspace is free, and almost everything has no limit. Two things have a monthly cap, which resets on its own on the first of the month.
A full version without the two caps is on its way: €29, once, for good. No subscription. It isn’t on sale yet.
